One-of-a-kind selection of cookbooks and magazine subscriptions

This auction is a food lover’s dream. You’re not getting one, two, or even a dozen cookbooks. Thanks to the incredible efforts of Mike Lewicki of Verses from My Kitchen and others who’ve helped him (Domenica Marchetti of Domenica Cooks, Julie Deily of The Little Kitchen, and Marnely Rodriguez of Cooking with Books), this auction is for:

A collection of over 50 60 cookbooks and magazine subcriptions, many of them signed and donated by the authors themselves. (Books will be shipped by the authors directly to the winning bidder. Winning bid will include shipping.)

We’ll give you some time to process that. Yes, we said over 50. Enough to fill a bookcase, and worth more than retail because many of them are signed! (We estimate the retail value of this collection to be up to $2,000.)

 
Here’s how to bid:
1. Leave your bid in the comments section. If you’d like to remain anonymous, you don’t have to enter your real name. Just make sure the email address is correct (no one else will see your email address) so we can contact you after the auction.
2. Auction will end on Monday, August 29, 2011 at exactly 12 noon EST. We will contact you with details on how to complete the purchase.

Bidding will start at a very low $300. That’s less than $6 per book, friends. All proceeds will go to #afundforjennie.
